Workshops
Workshop tuition is $70.00 per day. Two-day workshop tuition is $140.00. Three-day workshop tuition is $210.00. Non-members pay an additional $25.00 per workshop regardless of number of days the workshop is offered. Some workshops may be offered at a lower tuition rate. When a workshop of this nature is available the tuition rate will be published in The Weaverbird newsletter.

Dimensional Weaving - Creating Tapestries that Integrate a Range of Fiber Art Techniques
Check out Martin Celerin's website to see how she has combined offloom weaving and felting to make awesome dimensional fiber art. Martina uses recycled materials for her unique artwork. She will be bringing a variety of materials as well as the handlooms for us to use.

This will be a three day workshop, 9:00 - 4:00, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 7 - 9. We will have plenty of time to explore the weaving, needle felting, and wet felting techniques.

Tution: $210 (member), $235 (non-member)
Materials fee: $5 - includes everything needed, but you are encouraged to bring any leftover yarns, thrums & fiber scraps. Class Size: Minimum 8, Maximum 20

Double Weave Diversity
Workshop description: Learn all about the magic of doubleweave. In this workshop, participants will weave a sampler that explores weaving two independent layers of cloth, double width cloth, tubular weaving, color-and-weave effects, pique, quiltin and doubleweave pick-up. Graphing designs and working with multiple colors will be introduced. 4 Harness table or floor loom, prewarped, will be required.
