Artist Statement..

I have been blessed with a brain wired more to creativity rather than copying, an enjoyment of the unique and of good design, and an incredible appreciation of color. So wandering in both an art museum and the woods sparks the start of a new weaving  project. Mastering weave structures is a further stimulation to pull it all together.

Most recently a concern for natural resources has prompted me to steer my weaving to using Ecospun yarn and other recycled products, naturally colored cotton, the stash of yarn at home, as well as the abundance of yarns made from renewable sources.
